Historical Details
The Wehrmacht's Blitzkrieg from 1939-1941 would enable chaos across all of Europe. From the lowland plains of Poland, to the seacoasts of Yugoslavia, there was no place the Wehrmacht didn't contest with their forces. Throughout the early stages of WWII, Germany would quickly gain the upper hand and solidify themselves as the largest threat to European Independence. The United Kingdom and the Soviet Union would be the last two remaining countries to hold against the German Blitzkrieg, hoping to extinguish the "Lighting War" The Germans had brought upon over 9 different countries.
